During the inspection process, we factory reset all devices. The factory reset removes all personal data, including emails, texts, contacts & pictures, and restores the device to its original factory settings. If we are unable to factory reset the device for any reason, we will either return to the device to you (upon your approval) or physically destroy the device through a shredding process.
You will receive a Certificate of Data Erasure certifying your devices were factory reset or physically destroyed through a shredding process.
If you are more comfortable erasing the data before selling us your devices, the factory reset is surprisingly simple. Please follow our factory reset guide below. If you have any questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
